A wonderful world of accessories with Hortons England
Continuing on our journey meeting the best up and coming British brands, today we're delving into the wonderfully accessorised world of Hortons England.
With a love of quality clothing and the country lifestyle, founder Chris Cox set up Hortons England to create products that are stylish but able to stand up to the outdoor life. Taking day-to-day inspiration from the beauty of the changing seasons, Chris and his Oxford-based design team work to bring us essential products that offer quality design and comfort, as well as little design details to bring a smile to our everyday. Despite increasing difficulty in sourcing the whole collection from within the UK, using British manufacturers is something Chris is keen to continue doing, especially for the new range of gorgeous leather handbags that are launching soon...
Best known for their super quality socks, of which more in a moment, Hortons England has been gradually building a range of products that will accessorise any outfit. With colder weather on the way we wanted to show you our picks from the current collection.
As the temperature drops we are always looking for stylish and cosy socks to keep our feet toasty, and we think Hortons England have absolutely nailed it with these warm ribbed socks. A core product in their collection, these are perfect for wearing as an extra pair of socks inside both our muddy wellies and smartest city boots, or even as a cosy pair of socks for Sunday lounging. As big believers in colourful socks we also love the wide range of colour combinations available, and are seriously tempted by the fact that packs of three are available as one pair just isn't enough!
Another standout product for us was this fantastic statement Kelmarsh hat. Made of 100% sheepskin this is the only hat to wear on the coldest winter days, and is perfect for the times when you don't want to build a look with lots of layers and accessories. It's also ideal for the outdoor days when you're worried about what the wind will do to your hair. We are (almost) tempted to hope for some seriously cold weather so we can wear it!
